Mary - The Mother of Jesus

I hope you have been watching as we have been talking about Mary. Mary was a simple girl that God chose for an awesome task. Mary would be the mother of the Messiah. I read a commentary about Mary and one sentence stuck in my mind. It said Mary's asset was faithfulness. God uses the faithful, not the talented, the faithful.

The book of Esther

Well, we have been talking about the book of Esther. The Bible is so interesting when you really take the time to focus!

This week we pick up where Esther goes before the king to plead for the lives of her people. Esther was placed in the palace for "such a time as this". What happens next? Tune in to find out.

Meet Teah

This week you will get to know a friend of mine, Teah Hall. Teah has been coming to Truth Temple for almost 20 years now. She is an awesome singer. She sings in most of our groups here at the church. You will get to hear about how she grew up singing and learning about God.

Nebuchadnezzar Part 2

Last week Ashlie and I talked about the pride of King Nebuchadnezzar. He went through a terrible thing because of his pride. I felt like we didn't have time to cover everything, so we decided to do a part 2 to the story.

Nebuchadnezzar

I hope you enjoyed seeing Terry again last week. He is a nut isn't he? I love him so much. He definitely keeps me laughing most of the time.

This week we are talking about Nebuchadnezzar. He was a king who was so lifted up in pride. He took credit for everything around him and gave God none. God sent him a warning but the king wouldn't listen. Nebuchadnezzar suffered a terrible thing because of pride. However, in the end the king realized who God truly was and that he was nothing without him.

What is Humility?

I know we have been talking about pride a lot lately. Well, this week we are going to talk about the opposite - Humility.

Being humble is not easy - we all know that. Jesus, however, was the perfect example of humility. He taught us how to love, how to serve and how to give.

This week we will see the importance of being humble when walking with God.

The Pride of Naaman

Pride is very dangerous - and it can slip in before you realize it sometimes. I have been reading a lot about pride lately. I read in the Bible about a man named Naaman and how his pride almost robbbed him of his healing.

Naaman was a leper. He really needed a touch from God. However, his pride almost cost him his healing. Thank God he humbled himself and was healed.

Are you Depressed?

Hey there! I hope you all enjoyed meeting my husband, Terry. Isn't he awesome? I love him so much and am so grateful to see what God has done in his life.

Well, I don't know if you've noticed, but on Saturday nights, we've been having some technical difficulties with the tv station. I am hoping everything is straightened out.

Anyway, my friend, Shari Gray, is going to be with me this week. Shari and I have been friends for 7-8 years. I have watched her go through a tremendous battle with depression. She will be sharing about this and about how God delivered her after 25 years of struggle.

If you know anyone who has this struggle, please encourage them to watch Saturday night at 11:00 or Tuesday morning at 9:00.

Meet Terry Frieze

I know you have all been waiting for my husband to be on the program. Well, you don't have to wait any longer. This week Terry will be my guest.

You'll get to hear about how we met and about our19 year marriage. Terry has an awesome testitmony that you don't want to miss. He was the drummer in a rock band when we met but God saved him and he went straight to playing for the Lord. God has blessed us both so much. Tune in this week and I know you will be blessed!

God's Glory

This week we are talking about the latter glory of God. The glory that I believe is coming to the body of Christ in these last days. The question is, do we want it bad enough because there is a price to pay for it.

Tina and I talk about what will happen to believers when we experience His glory. The glory will change us for sure. I know I want to experience that, don't you?

Our Fiery Trials

Do you ever feel like you are doing everything you can to live a righteous life, and yet feel like you are being fought daily? This week's program takes a look at this. We sometimes forget that our fiery trials are not always for us. God gets glory out of them because others see Him in our trials.

Remember this, being in the fire doesn't mean you are doing something wrong. It could mean you are doing everything right!

My Friend Melissa

On the program this week I have a friend of mine named Melissa Saul. Melissa and I grew up together in our early years here at Truth Temple, but the ugly divorce of her parents caused her to have to move away.

Later, when Melissa was grown and married she came back to Kannapolis and back to Truth Temple. We have been great friends ever since and have sang together in a group called "Charity" for many years now.

Melissa shares her heart and testimony. She is a wonderful, giving person and I really want you to know her better so don't miss it!

Crack Addict Delivered!

On the program for the next two week's you will meet a beautiful, young lady. Her name is Tiffany Lear. Tiffany is 21 years old and was a crack addict for 4 years. I met her at our church one Sunday.

Tiffany describes what it was like to be an addict and what it cost her. She is totally real about things so be prepared to listen closely. She gives her awesome testimony of deliverance - how God has totally restored her to Himself.

If you know anyone who is an addict or has struggled with addiction, make sure they tune in for the next 2 weeks!

A Different Spirit

Well, I'm back from vacation - raring to go! I missed being here but enjoyed my time of rest.

The program this week is about Caleb. He was one of the 12 spies sent to spy out the land of Canaan. He said, "Let's take the land! We are well able!".

Caleb was a man of faith and this caused God to say of him that he had a different spirit. He fully trusted God and believed every promise He had made to the people.

I want God to say of me, "she has a different spirit". I want to be a person of faith, even when it looks impossible to take the land!

Secret Sin

Do you have secrets? I think we all do. There are just some things we don't want people to know. However, it is one thing to have a secret but it is another to have secret sin in our lives.

Achan was a man in the Bible who had a secret sin. His sin costs him everything - his inheritance, his family, his life. Secret sin is a very dangerous thing. It will cost you far more than you want to pay. Our sin not only affects us, it affects our children and those around us.

Married to an Addict

This week's program is very serious. I have a friend, Carla Honeycutt, who grew up with me in our early years. Carla was saved here at Truth Temple. When she got older her family went back to their home church. Carla met a man there and was married. However, she soon discovered she had made a huge mistake.

Carla talks about her husband being an addict and how that affected her and her children. Her testimony will definitely impact you. I know it impacted me.

The awesome thing is how God turned it all around and gave Carla the life she had always dreamed of. You have to hear this story!

Meet Britt Nicole!!

Brittany Waddell is my niece. She grew up here in Kannapolis and many of you have probably seen her on the "Moment of Truth" broadcast.

Britt signed a recording contract with Sparrow Records last year as "Britt Nicole". Her new cd entitled "Say It" is coming out next week. The local station has started playing her release called "You".

Britt and I discuss her testimony, her recent tour and her new cd. She is such a young woman of God. Don't miss this chance to be inspired.

By the way, I didn't plan for this program to air on the week of her cd release - but isn't that just God!!

Seeking God

I used to love hide and seek as a kid, didn't you? Do you ever feel like God is hiding and you can't find Him? I know I have had those times. Sometimes the problem is that we don't seek Him first, above all else. God has to be first. We must seek Him with our whole hearts.

Tina joins me this week as we learn how to seek God above all else. Is that your desire? We should all desire that!

What does that mean?

One night I came across the scripture that said we have the mind of Christ. And I thought, what does that really mean. So I backed up in the scriptures and began to really study about it.

The following day I emailed Ashlie Miller about the topic. I shared with her how awesome I felt this truth was and how it relates to knowing God's will. She just happened to be studying on similar truths.

So - here we are - Ashlie will join me on Saturday night and Tuesday morning to talk about "The Mind of Christ".
